A driver was recorded doing 105mph on the A47 in Norfolk on the first day of a two-week crackdown on speeding. A two-week national speed campaign was launched on Monday, 25th May. A motorist was recorded by police in the York area driving at 131mph. Motorists were also recorded travelling through 30mph residential areas at almost twice the speed limit.
